Public Blog Entry

Everyone can see this blog entry without being logged in. In the future I’ll occasionally post publicly-visible blogs like this for everyone to see, but for the most part this area is intended to only be fully accessible to my supporters and Patrons.

For at little as $5 one-time you can have access to this entire site and see all the project reports and private blog entries that aren’t visible to the general public; all of the options to contribute either one time or on an ongoing basis can be found at https://johnhenry.us/support.

Obviously this subdomain is a low-security installation and there’s really nothing but honor stopping someone from paying five bucks and then just copy-and-pasting it somewhere free, but that’s not really the point anyway; the point is this content isn’t likely to be of any interest or value to anyone who isn’t supporting my work, and this is an easy way to deliver it to those folks without adding a huge load to my main server or a big complicated additional registration process on this subdomain. As I get more login/id tools integrated, I can look more seriously at setting up for, at worst, two-step setup where you have to create your account once on the main site, then once here, using your external login e.g. Patreon or Twitter – excuse me, “X.”

Right now I’m trying to get this little bit of “side work” done so I can get back to creating content. You’ll be able to watch at least some progress whether you’re logged in or not; you’ll see the projects appear in the navigation menu as I get more work completed on them. You just won’t be able to see anything else about them, or any ongoing blog entries etc.

Let me get back to work.
